so, i went to Manche's house that evening for a movie night. as soon as i came in, athirah bising2 suruh rasa bihun goreng yang syafiq masak, but i didn't believe her sbb syafiq made it clear die xnk masakkan for me, eventhough i asked him far too many times already. they showed me pictures of him cooking, lg lah suspicious, sbb mcm lain mcm je drg ni. iye2 nk ckp syafiq masak. ok, saya gf yg jahat. i know that. after syafiq convinced me it was really him cooking the bihun, i tried it and walla! sumpah sedap! lagi sedap dr my bihun goreng. haha
and then, the movie started, after 2-3 hours menunggu semua org ready nk tgk movie. tgk movie the strangers. psycho gile. eh eh, tak tgk hbs lg pn. br awal2 nk start, i was looking for syafiq sbb movie da start, pastu sape tah cko die g toilet. tetibe pao yg dr awal dok main gitar, dtg dekat n said 'meh ak nyanyi kt ko'. and then.....
muncullah syafiq dr belakang bawak cake and semua org pn nyanyi2 and i pun malu2 kucing macam nk ngs pn ade tp air mata xkeluar. the feeling,wow, xleh imagine. happy gile kot! after two birthdays xberjaya sambut same2, on my 21st bday, we made it!
lepas potong kek, syafiq kua bilik bawak a bouquet of water lily, and helium balloon yang telah lama diidamkan. so childish, i know. balloon ja. whatever. jap, kek blackforest, my fav. couldn't get any better than this kan? i know. lps tu ade brownie from panara bread yg mmg best gile, courtesy of pao n asma. and mase tgk movie, tetibe he went to the kitchen n then amk strawberry, die kate saje bli utk u.

Heyya. I'm back. Sorry for the late of updates. Been busy with classes. I am still wondering why did I choose to take summer classes this year, when I could be home right now indulging delicious food and helping my sister with her wedding preparation. Well, it's not like I can withdraw from my classes now and fly back home. Guess all I can do now is wait till classes are done in two weeks and thennn.. you know what comes next. Lucky the weather is just nice and beautiful and not excruciatingly hot like some people claimed.
Here's a little update of what I have been up to this summer.
We officially moved out of Park Point, the best apartment ever! No more dishwasher (not like we always use it), washer and dryer in the apartment. We were all very sad with the fact that we had to move out, AND the fact that we need to go out to do laundry. Urgh. I hate to think about that.
Bent Nail Cottage owned by our dear friends, John and Frances. The cottage is by the Seneca Lake, one of the Finger Lakes here in Rochester. First time kayaking. First time sleeping in the attic. Visited a goat farm. First time eating goat cheese. *bluergh* All in all, I had a great time. Thanks to John and Frances for having us.
Syafiq was here for almost two weeks, and couldn't have asked for any better time for him to come visit me here. He threw me a surprise birthday party, even though technically it wasn't my bday yet. Still, I loved it very much. Details in the next entry.
Last two weekends, Syafiq and I had our first roadtrip together to Boston. It was the first time that we rented a car, as Syafiq is finally legal to rent one. The car we got was 2009 Suzuki SX4. We wished that we had Swift instead. Oh, and we named it Sizuka. Syafiq drove 8 hours to and fro, and me being a 'nice' girlfriend, slept most of the time. Well not really. Oh, first time kene parking ticket sbb expired meter. Semua sbb tgk Pakcik Harvard lame sgt.
We went to Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Harvard University, two of the prestigious schools in the US. We didn't do a lot of stuff, just looking at some buildings and stuff, coz Boston does not really have a lot of attractions to begin with.
John Harvard. Sape pegang kasut die dapat masuk Harvard. Yeahh right!
Lobster meal. Lepas ni dah pandai mkn lobster. Hehe
The cool part is just about to begin. We went whale-watching on Atlantic Ocean. It was 42 bucks and I didn't really wanna go at first, coz you know, whale-42 bucks? I could have a decent tops with that money. Har har. But sure we went there. Guess what? I barfed two times on the cruise coz it was all bumpy throughout the 2 hours journey. Tak tahan ok. Syafiq muntah just 30 seconds after I did. Haha. See, I knew it wasn't worth paying 42 bucks, right??Lucky us, we got to see groups of whale which is normally rare, according to the guide. We decided at the end of the trip, we are not gonna be cruising to Bahamas anytime soon coz we both are seasick.
End of Boston. Now, back to Rochester. Mr. Boyfriend is back in Minneapolis. I'm stuck with a kejam ChemSep instructor yang main tolak markah suke hati and asyik tuka fikiran je. Tak istiqamah betul. Cepatlah 4 July!!
